Located at the very heart of downtown Chicago , this resto-bar offers a variety of Asian food, cocktails and drinks at a reasonable price. I have tried their potstickers, spicy tuna, miso soup, chicken wings and non of them disappoint. Their Malaysian-style green curry is highly recommended. Crews/staffs are polite, attentive and friendly. Ambiance is cozy and clean. Will definitely come back to satisfy my Asian cravings.

Simply Thalia is a solid spot if you’re craving a mix of Asian flavors in the Loop. I went for the Pad Thai ($16) and the spicy tuna roll ($12), and both hit the spot. The Pad Thai had that perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and nutty, with plenty of chicken and fresh bean sprouts. The sushi was fresh, with a nice kick. Also grabbed a Thai iced tea ($5), which was super creamy and refreshing. Service was quick and friendly, and the vibe was casual but classy. Spent about $40 after tax and tip, and I’d definitely come back to try more off their huge menu!

Leaving a review based on my history with Thalia Spice in River West. I haven’t been to this newer one but was so happy to have discovered it walking in Block 37. Thalia Spice was always a great spot and I can’t imagine this one would be any different. Looking forward to trying it soon!

I got vegan curry & my friend got salmon & my other friend got a burger. They both liked their food- the curry was extremely spicy, and I like spicy food... I couldn't finish it in one sitting because of the heat. The vibe was cute & it seemed like it had a nice bar, but the people working seemed unexperienced. I asked for a cocktail on their menu and it wasn't made with the correct ingredients. After letting the bar know, they remade it & it tasted completely different but was still off...

Simply Thalia is in my Tina Turner Voice Simply The Best. I have been on a weight loss journey and this restaurant has great healthy food. Whenever I host my shows at Daley Plaza. I come down to block 37 and eat there. Thanks DJ Lonnie B for suggesting it. The avocado and cucumber wrap are scrumptious. My artist Miquan Fair and my sponsor Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas
